    Powder Blue

Absolutely! and 20gal tanks are cheap compared to loosing that or any fish.

    Powder Blue

I have had mine for a year. No problems. Have plenty of LR for it to graze on. If you plan on getting more tangs I would get them first. The bigger the powders get the more territorial they are towards new fish. Adding fish at night while everyone is asleep has always helped me. Gives them some...

    new palythoa grandis

Just picked some up myself. They are a little more white with the brown center. Supposed to be "rare" but who knows. Those monsters got really responsive after the second day.

    Xenia's driving me crazy!!!!

I keep it at a high point in the tank where it can't attach to anything. Looks like a big pink pulsating afro.

    mushrooms bleaching??????

How much flow do you have on them? Doesn't look like they are opening up all the way. I'd still put my money on how close they are to the lighting. Goniopora looks happy!

    Elegance coral question???

Pull it out of the sand bed a little bit. I have seen them go downhill from jawfish stirring up sand on them. Just a little higher to keep any from getting in him.

all fish eating but yellow tang

Try slicing some garlic and letting it soak into some pieces of algae. May help to attract him to it. Try adding it right after you feed the others so the feeding frenzy has calmed down and they aren't battling for the food. Hope some of this help. Also, how big is the naso?

    Goniopora

I was checking out a site specifically dedicated to the different species of goniopora and found some crazy stuff. Pictures of amphipods creaping out from under the coral and tearing off small pieces of the tissue and causing it to appear receided. Seen it in other tanks after they have been in...

    Elegance coral question???

Glad you're not giving up on it! The things I get from the stores that aren't doing well turn out to be my favorites. Guess it's the nursing them back thing. Good luck with it. Being a carnivore it will enjoy the meaty stuff.

    Elegance coral question???

Brine will not have enough nutritional value. Try the silverside mash or some meatier foods and definitely the lighting placement. Mine stays happy even when my clown decided to host it. And kudos on the wife diggin the hobby!

    Elegance coral question???

Did the same as mscarpena. Put mine at the bottom halfway under a ledge. Gives it a little light and flow. What are you feeding it? If you have any silversides mash one up into a paste and spot feed it. Do it after everything else is fed so the hermits and shrimp don't steal the goodies. Hope...
