I had a Miniatus kill a Tusk in a 75g. I wouldn't do it. Tusks are wusses and groupers don't play well with others.

I have well water with a water treatment system to harden my water as it comes out of the ground at below 6.0. It may be overkill but I run it through an RO, not worth the risk IMO.

Even if one wouldn't "crash through the floor", I'd be very concerned about it warping the floor boards and pulling them away from the wall and splitting the drywall over time. IMO, nothing over 75g should be on an upper floor. Least that's the line in the sand at my house. Think of it this...

I run an Aqua C EV-240 w/ a Mag 12 on my 240g FOWLR and I'm real happy. I would figure it would be great on a 180g.

I've got a large one (maybe 3.5 -4") in my 240g and he still has some color, but is semi aggressive.

A shoal of Blue Reef's gets my vote. They get 5" long how's that for peaceful and lots of blue.

I would have expected Angel A (established) to be the early aggressor. If it is the other way around you may have problems to come. I'd keep a VERY close eye as they may work it out in time, but be ready to seperate.

Spam! As for what will go with those eels in a 100g, just about anything that can fit in a 100g. Those are easy going eels. Angels, Wrasses, small Tangs, etc, etc.... Enjoy.
