    Why not a wet dry in a reef tank?

    I have a 75 gallon and recently trashed my wet dry and went for a 30gallon fuge. My water has been the clearest I have had it. I also have a fluval 405 that I use to run poly filiter in. My vote is for the Berlin method. My nitrates are still high to me 5-10 ppm.

    I going to be making a 30 gallon fuge out a standard 30 gal tank. Going from left to right. Return from display tank/protein skimmer/bubble baffle/fuge(sand,live rock, cheto)bubble baffle/ return to display tank. Does my plans seem alright? Should I change anything around? Thanks in advance.

    No I just got done getting this answer myself. All you need is 36" 4 t-5 bulbs the ice cap ballast will over drive the the bulbs(this will provide about 40% more output) . Also this depends on if you using individual reflecors or not.

    Actually post #13 thats my plans for my fuge/sump. Fuge in the middle flow from right to left. return from dt-potein skimmer-bubble baffe-fuge-bubble baffle return to tank.
