I would keep the car. "The Keys" isn't really "The Keys" in KW. I would recommend leaving KW for a day trip one of the days so you can experience what else the islands have to offer.

    Meaty Recipe help

I like to use shrimp, squid, clams and mussels. Make sure they are raw, as cooking will remove vital nutrients. Take the above seafood, marinate it in Selcon, Vita Chem, etc and freeze it into a big ball. When you need to feed, take a grater, shave off the desired amount, let it thaw and feed.

    Can I use beach sand?

I am not familiar with the Gulf's aquascape. Broward and Dade, between the 2nd and 3rd reef lines will supply viable sand in 40-60 feet of water. I know you know, but don't use your BC to help lift a bucket of sand... just in case you drop it. It is ILLEGAL to harvest/collect/dredge sand in...

    Can I use beach sand?

Is everyone forgetting that Daytona is too far north??? The sand there is quartz silica, not aragonite. You could go to Palm Beach County, outside the second reef line, and get sand, but thats 60 feet of water. The only place in Florida with "true aragonite sand" is the Lower Keys, south of Big...
