today they look alot worse. two polyps that were clearly open yesterday look like they are never going to open again. they are all staring to look like they are melting... the only thing i can think of is either the pods are actually eating them, or they are eating the dead polyps because i had...

i don't know what interceptor the whole tank means, but i have a feeling it means taking everything out and not having a fun time. What treatment did u do nike? Did amphipods bother your zoas? do they only bother zoos? sorry for all the questions i just get frustrated when i cant get corals to open.

    Too much light?

I found the problem! i bought another small frag of zoos a couple days ago and placed them near to where the old ones were. Even though i did a dip on them (revive), 2 days later some of the zoos were closed and i saw 2 or 3 small like bugs on them (one species looked like a longer like...

    QT alternative?

I wanted to add about 2 more fish in the future but do not have a qt (have no tank, and hate waiting so long) . All my fish are healthy now, but i want to prevent any ick outbreaks because i lost a tank...

nope, they actually look pretty clean. it looks like some of them have been squashed. Some of the really small ones from the sides turned brown and dissapeared.

    Too much light?

they dont look that healthy... and i meant that i have been touching them alot, and maybe that is why they are so stressed and some are shrinking

    Too much light?

now only about 2 of the few zoos are open, the other ones are closing up and shrinking. Could this of happened from touching them too much? i had to move them and glue them several times

I think i have done the calibration right. I set the desired temperature by turning the blue ring, then the next day i unplegged it and set the red point to the temperature that the tank was in, then i moved the ring to the temperature i want. But i have to turn the blue ring up to the high 80's...
