Mud, the B-Ionic is a 2 part additive. One for calcium and one for alk. I think my Alk is high because I was using Kent Marine Buffer for PH and didn't realize that was alk too. I'll look at the other threads you suggested and start using the kalk but I don't want to raise my calc and alk up...

Ok. Thanks. I have 100 lbs of LR and 100 lbs LS. Do I need more biological filtration? Also, why do you have 2 filters on your 75. The XP3 is rated 350 gph for up to 175g. I thought the Xp2's were up to 100g.
