small update. I got it out!!!!! He was on a flat rock on the very top of the tank this morning. no coral on the rock no nothing just hanging out by himself. He is now in the nano until I can get him to the lfs. its alot easier to tear apart 10 lbs of rock then it is to do 70 or so.

if you can introduce the blue spot to the other side of the tank you may be able to get away with it. we tried it. it didnt end well. they both wanted the same section of the tank.

so the living room is now becoming the fish room right?

had a v tail in a tank at work and it was extremely aggressive. The nice red color didnt stay for very long and it became a brownish shade. it beat a blue spot grouper to death within a week. if you can get a minuatus or a blue spot. those were my two favorites.

Im pretty sure you are right. By agreeing to allow placement of a lock box you are in essence giving them permission to enter the home without you being there as an escort. otherwise why bother?

Currently have a coralife 65 on our 37 gallon and I am not too happy with it.yes it skims. yes it helps but i want better was looking at the reef octopus skimmers. Can anybody make a suggestions on a kick butt skimmer that will be do an awesome job and can use when we upgrade in a few months

i mix my water for extended periods as well. usually about 12 gallons at a time and use a maxijet 1200 and a heater in the bin with it also. keep one corner propped open and Ive never had any issues with it at all. sometimes the bin does smell funky but i attribute that to it just needing a...

myers I saw a conspic at absolutely fish in jersey this past weekend. i dont know what you are considering a good deal but off the top of my head I can not remember price. i know the two numbers had 00 after it though. lol

we had one was a very timid fish. ate like a pig had good personality when he wanted to and never touched a coral or invert. He just got too big too fast so he went back to the store for credit.

i dont think its difficult at all. initially its a bit challenging but this is a very fun and enjoyable hobby. common sense and lots of research and reading. its kind of a closet geek thing you could say .
