How DO YOU feed your fish?

I'm really interested in this as there's so much difference in what people do. I'm trying to get a poll here not sure how. The mass here seem to feed once a day where another board the mass feeds 3xs a day. The 3x a day theary seems to be based on fish that are grazers ie:Tangs I'd expect those...

So the clown died :( Should I worry about the rest? pic

The clown made it 3 days in the QT. I came home yesterday to find him flipping himself around. I scoop him up in a BIG measuring cup put a little DT water in and hung the cup inside the display tank. Hubby thought maybe the lack of light was the problem but I pretty much knew he was toast...

Whats a good CUC for my tank.

Go for the chromis if you want. I was just stating from my experience. Maybe with 2 they'll just stick to them selfs. 3 would be more like a school though, if your tank can handle it.

    Potential Algae Outbreak

I'd still cut the lights down. I think that max you need is 8hrs a day but I'd cut it to 6hrs for a while. More snails and keep on top of the water changes. Oh I'd also get another goby and cover your tank. I had one jump too. I have it partly covered reducing the risk of a jump but not causing...

Whats a good CUC for my tank.

I agree with skipping the chromis I have one that came with the tank and the dang thing just picks on the clown fish. Its going to the IFs, there's nothing special looking about it by it self either. If you go to "reef packages" on the side on this site it will give you a little look at what...

I just know the bigger the tank the more forgiving. I'll have to set it up tomorrow. I thought hubby put it in the garage with the rest of the stuff but it must still be in the car truck which he took today.

Can I feed my star this?

My red starfish is *suppose* to be an algea eatter and I have seen it eatting algea off the rocks and glass. However one leg is getting shorter then the rest so I figure it's more like a veg and meat eatter. I've tried giving it the froozen brine but all I managed to do is knock it off the glass...
