so it seems like a lot of people have them.....last question one site says that they prefer to be placed in the sand (or rock crevice). I am concerned with the sand part b/c i think for me this would be the ideal place to put it. so has anyone heard of this and it would be going in an aquapod...

tank is only about 3 weeks old.......i did read another thread where the people blocked off all of the vents except the top one so the tank would operate more traditionally.......jsut wanted to know if they glued the acrylic or wedged it in there

also what are the maccaroni looking things in the mesh bag ia am sure they are some kinda bio filtration? i have extra bioballs should i use the maccaroni things or bio balls?

I was kind of disappointed with the directions that came with the tank (aquapod 24) does the blue sponge filter need to be level with the top of the black backing or like a inch lower so the water can run through? also vertically from top to bottom were the sponge filters are there are black...
