Green will come but not like the flood of brown you had. It will grow much slower and if you control the nutrient sources in the tank it won't be a problem at all. Your whole problem was providing the algae with a source of food IE your tap water. Get rid of the source of food and it goes...

Its probably some symbiotic crab that made a home in the coral. Kind of like christams tree worms in poritees rocks. Lucky you. I would focus more on the coral though IMO. It looks a little bleached.

Corals are not plants they are animals and they don't need plant food from tap water. They need meat sources. Ever notice a coral expeling its dead symbiotic plant life which becomes food for other organisms? Your typical reef keeper does not keep plants in their main system as well, so why...

As you can see from the pictures i have an acropora species growing in my 20 gallon tank. I moved it to its current spot about 3 weeks ago and ever since then it has been slowly deteriorating. It looks like its bleaching but i am not certain. I am certain its getting worse whatever is...

On your CC? None. If you want to base something like a plerogyra(bubble) or caulastrea(candycane) in the CC then cool. You basically don't want the flesh of the coral rubbing against the CC in any manor.

Probably better in the second one. To many other fish that are like him in the first. I take it you know their demeanor?
