I may have just nuked my reef, but don't know

Nice. I have been thinking about trying my hand at building a custom fuge/sump. What I have now is what happens when you walk into a LFS not knowing anything and throw a bunch of $$ at them. I have a basic idea of what I want to do. It's just a matter of finding the time and purchasing the...

I may have just nuked my reef, but don't know

On a side note, I was having issues with my T5's causing the water temps to rise a couple of degrees. I know that this two or three degree swing in temp is really not good. I tried a fan that I bought at the LFS and it sounded like an airplane was taking off. Couldn't deal with that. So I...

I may have just nuked my reef, but don't know

I can take some better pic's tomorrow after my camera recharges. This is the best that I have on hand. - All-Glass Aquarium Mega Flow model 3 wet/dry sump rated for 120G - Supreme Classic model 18 (1800GPH) pump It really doesn't leave much wiggle room for evaporation. I added a PVC elbow...

There's only one return, but the nozzle splits into two streams. I have one pointed slightly down and across the back. The other is pointed towards the front and slightly down.

My Golden Headed Sleeper Goby. He's MIA. Don't know if he's hiding or if he jumped: My Royal Gramma: My only confirmed causality so far. A Black Cap Basslet. I was misinformed about how to acclimate. I was slowly adding water to the bag while it was floating in the tank. He jumped out...

I may have just nuked my reef, but don't know

I actually do have three fish in there. Four if the golden head sleeper goby is still alive. After doing some reading I'm thinking that I moved too fast here, but so far no ammonia or nitrites. Could be from using the established rock I guess. I have two clowns, a royal gramma, possibly a...

If he is hiding, I doubt he'll live long with those stars devouring everything in my sand.

The good news is that I got my refractometer and they said that they would take back the stars. I talked to a different person then the guy who sold them to me. He said he would never put a star in his own tank. The bad news is that they didn't have any nassarius snails or cerith snails. He...

They look like the first one you linked. Here's a picture of a bunch of them right after I dumped them onto a rock. http://www.lizandscott.com/gallery2/...2_itemId=19394 I guess I need to add some empty shells too. I've seen some of the hermit crabs harassing some of the snails already.
