    Dare-devil yellow watchman

I haven't seen anything harassing him, but he won't go to the bottom when he's not in the overflow. He either swims around the top or perches on the scraper magnet. I guess he doesn't like something down there. I have sand sifting star, cleaner shrimp, peppermint shrimp, pistol shrimp and...

    Dare-devil yellow watchman

Anyone else have to deal with a goby that keeps jumping into the overflow? Any tips on preventing this? I guess it's better then the carpet. I've fished him out of there twice today and he was back in the overflow within 10 minutes each time.

    Digital test kits

I think they are both territorial species. I would probably run into trouble trying to get them to cohabitate.

    Moonlights and lighting times

I'll be able to post a pic of the icecap when it arrives. I can't do a single actinic. My Wave point retro fixture doesn't have separate power for individual bulbs. The two actinic's and two daylights are all either on or off :(

    Digital test kits

I know that there are digital PH test kits. Are they accurate? Are there any other digital test kits? Nitrites? Nitrates? Ammonia? I ask because I'm color blind. I'm constantly asking my wife to look at the test tube and tell me what my readings are. I'd definitely be willing to drops some...

    Salt Mixes

Actually, if I really wanted to, I could drive over to Biscayne Bay and collect it myself. Is there a downside?

    Skimmer pump dead

The pump in my ASM skimmer decided to not generate bubbles after I plugged it back in upon finishing a water change. I'm a bit concerned about dissolved O2. The LFS that I bought it from has ordered a new pump, but it won't arrive until Monday. I normally run the skimmer 24/7. I'm using a...

    Salt Mixes

I don't really want to hijack your thread, but is there any downside to using actual ocean water other then having to transport it? I live in Miami and a lot of the LFS's stock ocean water. I've been using that for all of my water changes. At $0.50/gallon it really doesn't seem more expensive...

    Moonlights and lighting times

I ordered a IceCap 45.2 Inch LED Moonlight Retro 470nm Tube w/ Power Supply to supplement my T5's. I'm currently running my T5's for 10 hours a day. How many hours before and after that is it safe to run the "Moonlight's"? Is there a certain amount of time that is needed with no light's at...
