I noticed some movement in a cave in the wee-hours of the morning. I grabbed a flashlight to check it out. It turned out to be this crazy looking thing. Is it an emerald crab? Is what ever it is going to rein destruction upon my reef?

I thought for sure that one of my two porcelain anemone crabs was dead. I was very sad. These guys are awesome. It turns out that their shells look exactly like the live crab and it had just molted. I've seen my shrimp molt often enough, but their shells look more transparent and obvious.

I picked up this rock today because of the numerous worms. I was wondering what type of coral is encrusting it. As you can see it's pretty close to my Alveopora. There is also a Spongodes a few inches away on the other side. Is the proximity going to be a problem?

The black spots don't looked raised. They seem bigger then ich as well. The white is definitely raised.

My hippo got some white spots. I assumed it was ich, but then the white spots became black spots. Could this be from my Scarlet Skunk Cleaner picking ich off him? I think my PBT is getting ich (white) as well. Both are fat, eating and active.

I'd be careful touching unknown stuff on your live rock without gloves. Some stuff can sting.
