    Does anyone know of someone who makes a decent heater controller? I have two Won Bros heaters and both the controlers went bad. I plan on removing the controllers and putting a plug on the end of the heater cords and then plug them into a third party controller?

    I have a complete machine shop in my basement. I do gunsmithing work, building custom rifles. I also have plenty of polishing wheels for bluing guns and plenty of Simichrome polish that I used to use for polishing my motorcycle. I also have a brake for bending the metal.

    The transformer says: CW autotransformer ballast for(1) 250W M58 orH37 lamp 120/208/240/277V 60HZ 2.5/1.44/1.25/1.08A OCV 320 15 MFD 400V CAP (1.43 MEGOHM MAX Rdis) the number on the capacitor is VC15048ECR If anyone is interested in one of these to build your own ballast, let me know.

    I just checked and the bulb says M58E, if that means anything. I'll check the transformer and capacitor and list any info that may be on them.

    Actually it is aluminum in a coil roll. I am going to polish it before I bend it and mount it in the canopy.

    I plan on building a canopy and mounting the bulbs inside. I have a canopy that I built and I have VHOs in it. I have access to hundreds of ballast components and bulbs and sockets.
