Seth, what exactly did you like about her? Think about that carefully. And go forward from there.

TANGS. Sorry, but if you want a fish that's going to be HUGE, then for HEAVEN'S sake buy a HUGE tank, or forget it.

    MandarinFish!!!!!

Thanks, Granny (you have no idea how comforting that is to say again, so thanks for that too). I also have seahorses to consider, so I'll have to research the black worms. I guess I'll get out the baby brine tank. It's been a long time...

Thank you! She eats all day. I have not seen a fish so intent on feeding. They are fascinating. From all I have read, heard and now seen, she will not accept processed food at all. I would appreciate any input from folks with long experience with these fish. She worries me a bit. If I need to...

    Mature? Tang Police

If you already have the "100 or something like that" tank cycling, then sure. Start growing the YT. If the 100 or something tank is not a reality, buy fish that will thrive in your current system. If you have a two bedroom house, how many folks do you want living there. It is the same idea...

    Flasher and solor wrasse problems.

I'm so glad! Fish aggression... I think this relates a bit to the "can fish mourn" thread. They are intelligent little beings, in my opinion.

This may sound ridiculous (I know it does) and may be impossible in your size tank, but this works for me. I have a yellow damsel that thinks she is the tank mafia. When she gets after someone, I put my hand by the tank like I am going to shake hands (flat, palm in, fingers pointing toward the...

If you have any question and you type "salt water fish", well, hello! It has been a great experience both for my aquarium and myself. No one who is reasonable and has the best intentions has anything to fear here. Thank you SWF.com

    MandarinFish!!!!!

The tank is 3 years old built from a 10 and then a 20. Some of the LR is 6 yrs old. I believe it will support her. I know it is better than the 5 X 5 cube that she was in. There is only about 75 lb right now, I used some to build a breeder. She's a beauty. Thanks for the reply, Mayor! It helps.
