    Feeding Zooanthids

Nice Kip. 2 or 3 always does it. I "took" a shroom way back and now its 3 :) If you want to "feed" your tank NAS put some phytoplankton in there or Microvert/Zooplankton. They will absorb the stuff but don't "have" to be spot fed. They are capapble of catching food and eating it so if you...

    Brain problem

IF its brown jelly take it out of your tank in a seperate container and try and scrap the stuff off as much as possible. You can then put it back in the tank. Dips will help to cure it but i think you have to scrap it before you dip it or it won't get down in it.

    Inverts Starving?

Mexican turbos need filamentous algae. Try getting some algae sheets from a lfs and placing it in your tank out of reach of your hermits. As far as feeding the hermits they'll eat your snail waste and gather up scrapings from the live rock. If you want to drop a little food in there for them...

    lighting for coral

    skilter?

Good point Daniel but i think you could put together a "good" unit for about 2-3 hundred dollars. Thats about what youll spend on good filtration anyways. It's just never been done. Im sure one day. The hobby is still young compared to other pet keeping.

    Archive Forum?

Amen to that. I've written or subscribed in some of those posts and when i go back in my user cp a couple days they are never there. I always have to search for them again....

    skilter?

I think part of the problem is the sheer size of higher end skimmers and filters. Imagine something like a berlin and an emperor 400 together in one piece....

    corallife lights

I have a 24 incher on my 20. For the price online it doesn't get any better. Very bright on my tank. It is suggested you have a cover on your tank though. I use mine with a glass cover. So far so good as far as the corals go....

I wouldn't try. Pick one of the angels. And get them lots of live rock.

    skilter?

Skilters are wetdry filters and skimmer all in one. While the theory is excellent the product is "crappy". Its notoriously loud and doesn't skim well. I've been told a modified skilter does work well but as far as how to do that youll need to do a search on the web or this site......

    Plate Coral

May possibly not be getting enough light. What size is your tank. Since he is on the bottom it is alot harder for him to get light. Plates don't need inordinate amounts of light but a good amount helps....
