    Is my coral dying?

Thats not Aipstasia, it's a condylactic anemone. Chances are that it just stung your coral and then moved on. If it had stayed by it for a lenghty period of time your coral may have died but I think it has just been stung. Only time will tell, have to wait and see.

What brand of test kit are you using? Do you have your powerhead aimed at your water surface so that the surface is breaking up? This is how to get oxygen into your water. What kind of water flow/circulation do you have?

    Damsel removal

I just caught my yellow tailed damsel. He terrorized my tank until I lost most of my fish. I've been trying to catch him for over a month. I tried a net, the bottle trap but couldnt catch him. So I tried this. I had a breeder trap not being used. So it together and tried that. It is basically a...

In two years, that's all you've done? When they said you have to be patient in this hobby, they didn't mean to be that patient. :D

ahhhh crap! need calming down asap!!

It will work in a small tank, if it doesn't, then it is because you dont have a big enough clean-up crew. You can still not feed them for a week and they will survive. That is the biggest problem in this hobby, overfeeding!

ahhhh crap! need calming down asap!!

I dont know why people panic when they go away. Your fish will survive a week without food. If you should happen to lose a fish, it will become dinner for everyone else and not promote the ammonia. If you must have someone feed your fish, buy some of the frozen packets that come in cubes. Tell...

    baffles forRubbermaid stock tank sump..

You cant really make a baffle in a rubbermaid container because the walls are flexible and anything you attach to the walls will eventually come loose. The best thing to do in your situation is to get a smaller container and place it inside your larger container. The water will drain from your...

    Anemone requirements?

Christie: Another reason that I know my anemone is smiling is because right now he moved to where a small feather duster is, so basically he has a feather up his azz. I think if you had a feather up your azz, you'd be smiling also. LOL :D :D :D

    Helllllllllllllp please, my poor tank

Until you are able to completely remove the UGF=under gravel filter, I would move the PH=powerheads away form the UGF. By leaving the PH connected to the UGF, you are just making things worse. Keep the PH but only for water circulation. For filtration it depends on how much money you want to...

    Anemone requirements?

Christie, can't you see that big smile on his face? :D Just kidding. Usually when an anemone is inflated like that, it means it is healthy and happy. Happy may not be a good choice of word because I dont know if anemones have emotions, but by being inflated, I can tell it is eating.

Not to hijack this thread but I have a CBS that just molted and I was wondering if I should remove the skin or just leave it in there for the clean up crew?
