More then 1 Anemone per tank?

well, I have 2 Flower anemones and a LTA and they seem to do just fine in a 55's. My Flower anemones are not going anywhere. They are like glued on rock. My LTA floated by my Flower anemone one time, but everything's still ok.

    Take your corals outdoors

the old saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", If corals are happy, or at least they look happy in the tank. Leave them alone. you will hate urself really bad when the corals get killed cuz of all the sudden changes.

Whats the most important "thing" you've learned

-1" and up Emerald crabs chow down corals. -think of it as a loss at L.vegas everytime you bring home a coral. That way, it's a lose-win game. -don't set up any systems in the bedroom. Love my tank but I lost too much sleep cuz of the noise of skimmer and snails contact the pump and PHs

your patience is very hi, good job. I started reading and setting up at the same time since Nov. Luckily, everything's going pretty good with my tank. Keep us posted on your progress. Oh, I use the same light as yours. I am afraid you will have a prob with increasing in water temp due to the...

    xenia closing up?

that is what I was trying to tell you--excess algae growth. Also, you can't have a control of water temp when sunlight hits the tank. It can be too hot in the summer and will kill stuff in ur tank.

    critique my tank

do you have any probs with MHs raising water temp? that hood will trap lots of heat coming out from MHs if ur fan(s) are not strong enuf. I have my light 8" above water surface and there's a 5" slid around the light btw the hood and the light. 2 built in fans and still, water temp raises 3...

    xenia closing up?

there is no such thing as too much light for xenia. But if it's new to your tank, it might take a short while to get use to the tank condition. how long have you had it? Xenia loves moderate flow and strong light. This is off topic but not sure if you want sun light to penetrate your tank cuz...

Let's do a count on Sun coral owners

I'd like to know how many people out there actually own at least 1 Sun coral. If you have one or more, please post pics of them here and as many stories behind it as possible. I, myself, knew the trouble, but..... because I didn't have one in my tank, and because It looked like a good deal. So...

    Cyclopeez causes aggressiveness in fishes

well, if you say Flame Angel picks on those corals I fed them with Cyclopeez, then that's logical, cuz the smell is there. But my Flam Angel really goes after everything, including my LTA and Lobo brain, which I didn't feed those with Cyclo.

    Cyclopeez causes aggressiveness in fishes

I've noticed Cyclopeez increased the aggressiveness of my fishes, especially Flame Angle, by 2to3 times more than normal. I feed my corals Cyclopeez once a week, and everytime Flame Angle ate those, he came around and picked on everything in the tank.

does the flow look right here/sorry about the similar thread

hey Tobin, search for my post in Fish Photographs forum under "Here is my baby". I have 2 p.h. that blow vertically and head-on. I have great success with that flow pattern. I think you should lower your p.h. and let them blow up instead of down.

Help My Anemone, Oh My God

point the power head at it and you will see the magic in no time and won't damage the anemone. Anemones hate strong flow big time.

    Brain moves

My green brain moves to a brighter spot in the tank. Isn't that weird? I don't know how it did it but it made it, twice. Does yours move? if you have yours on rock, becareful, it will fall off.
