same here mine did that for a long time. she would swim back and forth across the top of the tank all day. now mine also has an anemone and stays there all the time:)

i bought one 3 months ago and it usually gets up to about 6 or 7 inches before it splits. hth

i have two of the female squarebacks along with about 7 different shrimps. they all live together just fine.:)

thanks all. yeah i am glad i was able to find her in time. i think she is going to be fine, she was swimming around normally just before lights went out. that pic is before the incident. right now her tail fin looks a little shredded, i think from being burned by salt creep that was on the glass

this afternoon i was sitting at my computer about 10 feet away from my tank. all of a sudden i heard a funny noise from the tank, i looked over and all my fish were hiding. i looked under the stand, behind the tank and couldn't figure out what the noise was. . then about 2 minutes afterwards...

yes, i have 3 pepppermints and 2 cleaners and they don't bother eachother

over the last couple weeks the population of stomatella snails in my 30 gal has been steadily growing. at night you can see litterally 100+ snails on the glass. can there be bad effects of having this many, or is it o.k??

q tip sponges are harmless. they will grow and die off

bimmerboy what kind of digi cam do you have? most people on here do use digital. any cam 3 megapixels and up should take good pics imo
