I thought eels couldn't get ich?

How long does ich survive without fish? Have a 180g FOWLR minus the fish. My last fish died about 3 weeks ago and the only thing in there is a snowflake eel, 3 hermits, and a shrimp. Thanks in advance.

a friend of mine cracked his tank and needed to rehome his livestock asap, so he brought them to me. I have a 180g with plenty of room.

Never been much of a painter, but what paint would be better? Water based, oil, or latex?

Like the title says, the black ground on my 180g wont stay on, its showing some huge bubbles thru the tank. My question is: Can i paint the back while the tank is running? Ofcourse i will take the necessary precautions not to get paint in the tank. Just want to know if i'm missing something...

Picked him up when he was about 4", was 9-10" when i took him out last night. Yeah, they're very docile.

Just minor bumps during feedings, no biting. Last night though, shark kept attacking the lion till he cornered him against some rocks and didnt stop till i grabbed his tail with feeding tongs, by then it was too late though.

Never mind, he died within a couple of hours

My bamboo shark just attacked my 10" v. lion and bit his right eye cleanly off. My question is: Do I try to heal or do I put him down? Very tough choice since i love lions ( whole reason i got into this hobby). any help is appreciated. He's in there with a tomato clown, blue face angel, foxface...

Its not pop eye, the eye is not swollen or anything, he has an actual air pocket inside his eye. when wife comes home i'll take pic.
