    Hydor Koralia

What are your thoughts on these? They look like they work pretty slick.. Couple them with a surge power strip and you could get some good wave action. Input anyone??

    Help with reef temp's!!

At least 78, between 78-81 is optimal.. If you have lots of corals and or anenomes at least 80.

Big and small maroon coming from different tanks

I would put the smaller one in the critter box and see how the bigger one responds..

    Aquapod vs Biocube?

I was looking at a Red Sea 34g gallon today. The thing was almost fill and go. Pretty spendy though.

Has anyone kept an anemone more than a year?

Most of what I have gleaned with anemones.. Really good water flow and excellent water quality. Learning what that type of food that anenome eats. Of course some will want better lighting than others.

Have you got the chiller hooked up yet? Isn't it this Friday 6/8 that you go get your LR? Have you done any water tests, running the system to see how it is doing? Great stuff so far!!

Which salt mix are you using??

I have been out of FOWLW tanks for over 15 years. I am in a position to set up a new tank. I am curious what everyone is doing for their salt mix? I was using Instant Ocean salt before. My new tanks will be full reef systems. The main tank is going to be a 125 gallon.

    LFS sold me wrong lights?

True but aren't you really looking for the color range? What color range do T5's run at? With a MH you have several choices.

Has anyone kept an anemone more than a year?

I am curious how many of you have had an anemone live more than two years? I was reading a Clown Fish book tonight and she was stating that most carpet anemones will not live in an aquarium. Anyone have one of these? I see some of you have BTA's, she does state that they have a better chance of...

    Clownfish Bite!!!

Tomatoes are one of the more aggressive clowns. They are well known for taking a nip at the unknowing aquarist. Some can get downright militant. Maroons will do the same.

    Azfishgal New Tank Diary!

Great AZfishgal! Nice job for your first reef tank and salt water tanks! I spent the day reading your posts. I am not new to salt water although I currently do not have a tank. I am looking at a 120 also and will probably end up with one. First is a nano tank that may start me off and then some...
