Carbonate Hardness ran high today.. like 14 drops.. its off the scale.. norm is 12 drops.. I know specific right.. but ya.. and Salinity was below1.020 i knwo.. im mixing salt water as we speak

Flame angels are really nice, but they tend to be munchers on other things in your tank.. im getting on for my FO tank when its up... but i think if you give it enough nori rubber banded to rocks it wont bother anything else.. and 55 gal is DEF big enough for them

YA i would hmm... look on CL find some cheap rock and buy that instead.. i would either put this in a QT tank till the barnacles die or freshwater dip it to make it baserock... But either way you should have looked at it before you bought.. how much did u pay if you dont mind me asking

They are basically a mated pair.. so if you didnt buy them mated then you got a good deal... you might see eggs once she is matured

Yep i plan on sanding it and either staining it or painting it i cant figure out which on.. probable a nice dark stain... and some varnish to make it sparkle... what do i need for my sump... just a pipe gravity fed from the main tank... and then a return pump to pump the water back... Anyone go...
