the glue will not stick to the mushroom itself. set the shroom in a cup in your aquarium with some sand or crushed coral in the bottom and let the shroom attach to some of that. Then in a few days you will be able to glue the sand or CC to a rock where you want the shroom to stay.

Bta's usually like to get their foot into a crevice or under a ledge. Try to wedge him inbetween a few rocks and in a low flow area where he wont get blown around. or maybe you could set him ontop of a rock in the lower portion of the tank that he cant really fall off of.

you can use that as base rock or after a few months in the tank it will look like live rock. It shouldnt be lime stone if you bought it from the lfs. where in FL do you live?
