What do yall do about build up in your hoses, i.e return hose? I had to do some matinence on my tank last night and when I turned my return pump back on, all this gunk that was built up in the line spewed back into the tank. This freaked me out just a bit and was wondering what anyone else does...

I had the same problem and when I got Seaweed Selects (green) he started grubbin'.

Same thing happened to me today. I came home from work, poured a drink and sat back to look at the tank. Im satisfied with it now, still doesnt look as good as before, but it looks good. Hope to get some pics together soon so I can post and get some outside opinions. Thanks for the...

I have about a 2-3" sand bed that I believe was decimated by a golden-headed sleeper goby. Any suggestions on what I can use to re-activate??

All I have in my reef is a small coral beauty and a 5" marine betta. If your looking for just a single "large" fish for a reef and have room for him to hide and lounge around in I reccomend a Marine Betta. Very Cool fish!!!! :cool:

I had to take down my reef to catch a tang with ich and I cant get the rock to look as good as it did before. What I've done so far looks pretty good, but I keep telling myself "if I move this one a little to the left and this one a little to the right......." I'm driving myself and my wife...

Good to know there are more reefers in Baton Rouge. I have some BRIGHT green shroom's that I picked up from Marks, Its a small colony now, but growing. If I knew how to collect a couple I would be willing to trade.

They have been placed in the middle of the tank with a medium to high water flow. They seem to like it there. Thank you for the advice. :D
