as far as i know you shouldt mix clowns they dont play well with each other but since you already have him if you change the set up of the tank like move some stuff around so it appears the tank is different they should get along after that

how do you know its dead? yes most of the critters living on them are most likely dead but if you got a few lbs of new rock the critters should pop right back up the only thing "Living" about live rock is the critters that live on them

you can take a slightly defrosted cube and put it near his hole and if he likes it he will take it if he just clings on and then lets go try going to the store and get some raw fish cut it in to a small fishy size pice and try that he should take it right away
