Need help upgrading to larger tank

Just my two cents, make sure that you don't place your tubs around your tank so you cant get your old tank out or your new one in.....from experience.

    Wanna see my light band-aid??

Since this is a pretty funny thread I thought I would add a joke I heard from my brother. Why are women's wedding dresses white? So the dishwasher can match the stove and refrigerator. I am married and my wife does NOT approve of this joke. But I think it is funny.

    adult bamboo shark

Perhaps instead of special licensing for the buyer, maybe there should be special licensing for those who sell them. Heck, there is special licensing and insurance for anything you want to do nowadays. Maybe by making your lfs pay for an additional license would make them think if it was...

    Bjoe23's 29g Tank Diary

Good looking tank so far, i think you need to look into buying a powerhead or two to create some waterflow. You should also get about 3 times as much live rock, it will be very helpful to ensuring a healthy tank. Other than that everything looks good.

    starting corals

Are you looking for other opinions, so you can pick the one that is closest to what you wanna hear. Then when things go wrong, you can get upset. I wouldn't try to keep any corals with lighting like that. Even though some will say you can keep some corals, you could, but most likely, by...

    what corals can I keep

You do NOT have to individually feed shrooms and zoos. I have the same power compact light system as you and keep shrooms, zoos, button polyps, and star polyps quite easily. I also have a 29g tank.

10 gallon tank, and my blue hippo tang...help

I agree 100% scsi, not everybody who is in this hobby has the same resources to learn from. They could be listening to their LFS and receiving bad advice. I know where I am in Minnesota, i have very few resources for this hobby. Except for this message board. We all need to be respectful...

    Base Rock

base rock is "not living" rock. Meaning there are no living organisms on it compared to live rock. However, many people use base rock to put in their aquaium and seed it with a few pieces of live rock. Over time the base rock will turn into live rock. You can save money but it takes time.

    Clown Goby

I currently have a green clown goby.(Booger). Anyhow, he is a pretty cool fish, that has some pretty cool markings. He is always on a rock, or comes and sticks in the corner of the tank. They are pretty neat. I would strongly suggest getting one.
