I know of at least 2 other companies coming out with LEDs. This will eventually lower the price, and the technology will get better as all light move towards LED in the rising age of limited resources

Coral vital works well, and at triple dose x 7 days can help prevent ich in newly introduced fish (like a tang that seems suseptable to getting it in a new tank)
I would also add those beautiful sea slugs. They all starve to death as we don't know what they really eat. It is thought only very specific sponges. They are awesome, but had one in my first tank and was sad to watch it slowly die. We should not be providing a market for those animals we...
My overflow hole is drilled at 1.5 inches, so I got a 1.5 inch bulkhead and will increase my overflow tubing to handle the full 600 gph. And will use 1.5 inch PVC (or flex)
My return line bulkhead was actually drilled (pre-drilled holes on tank) slightly smaller. I was wondering if I Y the...
Okay, I am sure this info is out there, but I cant seem to find it.
I just bought a 90 gal Allglass reef ready tank ( replacing my 42 gal)
It has this "Megaflow" system. They say overflow (single) is 600 gph, which seems right. for return pump they recommend a 2400 gph pump at 0 feet (and...
Hi,
I am still relatively new and cant figure out what this plant is. I am hoping to find out if it is a high or low light, slow, moderate or high flow. That is, what is best care so I can position in my tank well.
Thanks in advance
And no apologies needed from your end either. Good to know teachers out there that still think about what they teach and shaping our young peoples minds. Just remember when drinking that water--- buy a re-usable container or at least recycle all those plastic bottles.
So, I re-read my post and sorry the first was confusing.
Basically I am neither for or against drinking distilled water, just dont want people to think if they drink distilled water instead of tap that there will be a problem.

What kind of tank do you have. One of my tanks is a 24 g nanocube and somehow one of my clowns got back in the filter part and although I looked there a few times, I saw him at last. Just a thought

Well, it is true distilled water does not contain minerals, it does not leech minerals out of your body. Water contains many dissolved minerals and may provide a significant source of calcium, magnesium, etc to our diet. Certainly these can be supplemented from other sources, but current RDA...
