    How about adding a picture, then describe what housekeeping chores you do to get tank looking like the pic. Lets add a visual aspect to our daily (for some) rituals. I don't think a lazy style of housekeeping can keep a tank looking good.

    You need to run the lights 24/7 so that the caulerpa doesn't release organics back into the system. I would drain water into the fuge then pump back to the main display.

    No, because caulerpla can go sexual and release organic into the water column if it doesn't have 24/7 lighting. HOB or fuge sump would be perfect for your tank.
