yes he is in a 30g long Q tank. He looked ok in the bag. acclimated over a 2 hour period. Just finished lowering salinity to 14ppt over a 2 day period of time. Should help with bouancy problem I hope. He's showing some interest in the nori on a clip but has not eaten it. Also have added some...

Just recently received a 5 inch emperor angel from mail order. He's quite listless and weak. Have had him for 4 days. It's not unusual that he hasn't eaten but he's quite listless and weak. He seems to spend his day towards the top of the tank blowing bubbles and at night he goes into a corner...

Thanks for re-affirming. JWT and others--I'm actually going to need to Q 4 fish and have a 30g and 20g longs cycled and ready. Although understand that Q means isolation, never thought needed to have only 1 fish per tank. Given my dilema, what would you suggest.

Posted on fish discussion..... SWF states not to quarentine 2 new fish purchases (4 inch raccon btfly and 3 inch flame angel) unless Q tank is at least 55g. They're view is that they have already been prepared to go directly into the display and puttin gthem in a Q runs the risk of "undoing" all...

Kick Ich is a waste of money. Hypo also doesn't always work. Copper always does but difficult to keep at theropeutic levels and also kills everything....live sand, live rock...inverts etc. Hypo also does wonders on these critters. Unfortunately Ich is a real problem that does not ahve a 100%...
