ah!! that's actually a typo...the PH is 8.3-8.6 and the alk is 3.89 meq/L and no3 which i forgot to put the value in for is 10-25 ppm.. which is pretty bad, correct? and what can i do about the phosphate? Water changes?

with only a 260gph out put, i'd say no because you'd lose so much in head pressure that it would get reduced quite significantly, although it depends on the size tank i guess...

i've got a 180 and it has two center braces, but you could make them w/ acrylic and silicone glue

i didn't clarify correctly, again, i'm pretty much going to first let all my levels settle to zero, and wait till the hair algae is gone, and then i will,and only then after that is all said and done possibly get a shark. i've got the budget, and cash on the side for this on taking, but i guess...
