Well my 125g water's nitrates are way high, over 20, so I'm just going to move the rock and sand from my 20g over. I'll battle the algae in a tank with no nitrates, figured that'd be better.

Ok tested my salt mix for nitrates because I have high nitrates in my 20g and 125g and the water came out as 0 nitrates and I tested salinity and the SG came out 1.010. So it's a little low. But here's what I plan on doing. Add some mix then take 10g out. Take some sand out of my 20g and rock...

Well today is the day. I'm going to move over my 10g and get the equitment hooked up. I'll take pics of it being set up. I'm going to try and get some rocks from my 125g and 20g to start cycling, but I'm going to have to make sure the rocks don't have the algae on it that the rest of the tank...

I'd like to hear Texas Metal's input about lighting for octo's.

You can't do any of those, unless you add some crabs/snails/hermits for food. Reason no corals is because corals need strong lighting, and octo's like dim.
