AirWaterIce- Typhoon III, great unit. It comes in 75gpd and 100gpd if I remember correctly.

Sorry for the late reply, the Derby had me busy last week. I missed seeing the skimmer, but if it is a counter current skimmer, I wouldn't even waste my money on a pump for it. You won't really even notice a difference in water quality if you choose to run it. If you actually do want a...

My fault, I should have been more specific, what are the dimensions of your tank? Specifically the L and W.

    Wavemakers

If you have a sump, you can put a SCWD on your return, or you could build a closed loop with a SCWD. I run SCWD's on both my fuge return and CL. There are also different powerheads that are compatible with controllers, but this route would be a bit more expensive.

About one inch. First though how big is your DT.

First how large is your DT. Take the L*W*D/231 to figure out how many gallons extra will spill into your fuge when the power goes out. The D in the above formula should be 1. As in the depth your tank will drain in the event of a power outage. Most overflows won't drain a tank more than 1...

Then yes, no circulation is needed at all. It will be fine as long as you have it sealed. I believe it would last much longer than several weeks as long as it's sealed.

    seio powerheads

I think two 1100's would be great, especially if it is an SPS tank. The other 620 may be a bit much, it may not depending on how you have them set up. Remember a wave timer is not the same thing as a Seio Controller. Wave timers merely turn powerheads off and on every so many minutes. The...

Are talking about pure RO/DI or are you referring to salt water made from RO/DI?

Yes, but make no mistake, you don't "want" the last two. An algae scrubber/refugium is designed to help lower PO4 and NH3. As the macros grow they use PO4 and NH3. When you harvest(take out) your macro's you are physically removing the nitrate and phosphate from your tank.

That looks the 1500, and yes you put it on a Seio Controller as a wavemaker. The 1100, 1500, and 2600 models all work off the Seio controller. The 620 and 820 will not work on the Seio Controller.

The macros' will grow with light, nitrate, and phosphate. The first is a must and there must be at least a little of the last two for them to grow. You don't feed them directly if that's what your getting at. Also if you go with Chaetomorpha as your macro, run your fuge on a RDP(reverse...

    so many baffles....

First fill up your DT, then fill(meaning only to your normal operating level in your sump, not to the top of it empty)your sump with water as well. Don't turn on any pump unless there is water around them. Once there is water around your skimmer, turn it on. It will take water out of sump...

You can use NO(normal output) flourescent lighting, but remember the more light you have on it the faster your macro's will grow, and as such the lower your nitrate and phosphate should be. I use a 65w coralife PC(power compact) fixture with 6700k(plant bulb) bulb.

They don't all have to be above water, as such it would not function. What I meant was your highest baffle(part of your bubble trap) where the water goes under, the top of this baffle should not be submerged at all. This is what separtes the water flow. If you are plan on using your design...
