even with the top on mine, my radiator cover behind is starting to rust. With the powerheads and the filter return near the top of the water, I can hear water rippling if the lids are left open. What about fish that may jump?

It's a perfecto tank w/plastic hood. There are grooves in the plastic hood that the lights set on. Guess I will have to do some research on this before buying. So many options!

I thought they were mushroom button polyps??? New to the world of corals as you can see I've had my 125 gal for a year & a half.

Have you taken a sample to your LFS to have them double check?

How old are you test kits and what brand are you using? I replace my test kits every few months

the PH in my RO/DI water is 7. I use seachem buffer when I do every water change. I thought RO water would have a PH of 7.

bsd ---why do you have to use buffer??? By the way, I use Oceanic & Instant Ocean. Never a problem
