That's great, I was feeding my 3 week old bamboo last night and he decided to go after me. I love attitude in a shark, even if he's only 6 inches long. I acted scared as to no bruise his ego:eek:

I agree with leaving the forum as is. It's been great getting all of the feedback from folks who keep all kinds of aggresive fish. Also gives me too many ideas. Unfortunately I'm running out of room.:cool:

I'm guessing here a little, but I don't think a shark would scratch the acrylic. Even if it did, it would probably be very small scratches that you couldn't see with the tank full of water. As for the thickness, I have a custom Tenecor that is 84X36X24(320 gallons) and it's half inch, so it...

you got it, I've been keeping saltwater tanks for 10years and I'm still learning.

Tony, I think after checking everything in the tank, it was heat. I had a very large submersable return pump that was really heating the tank up and reducing the amount of oxygen in the tank. The tank temp was around 90 degrees. Unfortunately I didn't realize this until it was to late(my bad)...

These two I bought this summer. Unfortunately neither one of them made it. There was some problems with my tank that I wasn't aware of at the time. Very sad, I would like to try getting one again. I just haven't seen them in the LFS much.

I use normal output bulbs too.
