Here is mine when I fisrt got it about 2 months ago. It has grown since. I keep it near the bottom in a very brisk current.

Fighting Conchs are a dedicated sandbed cleaner. They stay relativley small and will always be in your sandbed. The Queen Conch is more of an algea eater that will clean rocks and glass. They get huge in nature (12 inches) and will soon outgrow a tank. Below is a pic of a fighting conch.

In my opionon the fighting conch is the best for the sandbed.

I would sat that anything that eats detritus is a good thing.

I don't know the proper name of it but I do have a few of what you descride in my tank. They seem to only come out at night eat dig in the sand for detritus.

You usally get a outbreak of them when there is a nutrient problem. This site now sells the nudibranch that eats them.

Sun polyps are a nice low light coral but you must feed them on a regular basis and getting them to open can be chalenging.

The more room you have from front to back the easier and more naturally looking you can aquascape the tank.

Are there any tanks that are at least 24 inches from front to back that your wife likes?

Definitly get the 250's unless you think heat will be an issue. But if you can afford a chiller don't worry about it.

Try and feed it a small piece of krill.
