great little fish and very hardy IMO territorial around other fish. it never did like my purple firefish when defending territory its kinda neat to watch them ROAR. they open their mouth wide and it looks like they are growling to beat heck.

i would say it should be plenty for a 15 gallon reef. i used one on a 45 gallon tank and it worked great other than alot of microbubble issues. but it pulled alot of skum. Good luck

IMo a good salt mix will do better than purple up. Im using it now to maintain a 400 ca level but ive switched salts so ill be discontinueing the purple up. I wont lie it has helped me but Red sea salt was so low on calcium im sure with a better salt i would have been even better off.
