I went to home depot to chesk out the acrylic sheets. Large pieces 48"x24"x1/4" cost $33. Some other stuff crystalite next to it cost $11 a smaller piece 24"x18"x1/4" Anyone know about this stuff and can it be used in place of acrylic? I may build a sump or refugium. Thanks

marineman, I'm alittle off on the calcium/kalk. Do you add teaspoons of the powered or do you drip? I have no clue how that works.

Marineman, It looks like you have success with 200 watts over a 55 gal. I was planning about 200 over a 33 long its 1 foot high. Would that work with anemones? On a consistant basis what do you add to your water? Could use some detailed help.

marineman, I'm just going to stick with the fowlr tank. It just gets to expensive. And I can be lazy at times.

Well the tube would curve up and out of the tank. Add some aquarium sealer to the ends if that helps. I had the older model magnun 330 and 250 and they were o.k.. The magnum in-line valves leaked some. If I were to do it over I would by valves at Home Depot and do it that way. The new ones...

marineman, There both about the same size. The marron is a fraction larger. I added the maroon a few weeks after the percula. The maroon was an unexpected purchase and I like it a lot. I have a 33 long tank with only 3 fish and a cbs.

Gary, I ended up placing the magnum in a fw tank instead. What I thought you could do is take air line tube and feed it over the adjuster. This will keep the steel dry. I'll try it even on the fresh.

I have a false percula clown with a maroon and their best friends. Thought they wouldn't get along.

I want to get a larger tank. Maybe 75gal or more, but it would be in a second floor bedroom. Would the weight be to heavy? One room has a king size waterbed and hasn't fell through. Not sure how heavy that would be or number of gallons. Would appreciate your thoughts. Also, would add 100#...
