My Tomatoe clown always comes to the front of the tank(out from behind rocks) and stirs the sand real hard with her tail. This of course makes a ridiculous mess and cloudies the water. Why does it do this ?

I have ntocied several photos on here of people who are putting their Koralia close to the bottom of the tank. Is there a good reason for this ? I have always had mine 5-6 inches from the top angled toward the front glass. Juts wondered what everyone else was doing and why ?

1. Does salinity affect your skimming in anyway ? 2. Does salinity affect your your clarity in anyway ? 3. If you raise or lower your salinity should it be very slowly ?

Someone on here once told me that you need to take some of the chaeto out or you will never be removing the nitrates. Whoever that was are you out there ??!

Thanks for your reply. The guy at my LFS told me this weekend that if the part of the tube coming up to the cup is not clean and has muck on it, that this can affect the output of bubbles as well. thanks

IS it possible that my motor inside the unit is too small ? If I get somethin stronger would that mean it would push stronger threfore creating more bubbling ? I think it currently has a maxijet 1200 help someone out there ???!!!

Do you periodically remove some of the caulerpa to rid nitrates as you do chaeto ?
