Those pf you that have one two questions: 1. Do you just put phosban in it or do you some other media like seachem gel, etc. ? 2. What is the advantage to using this vs. putting the media in a media bag and dropping in your sump ?

Just wondered with limited space in a 20" sump that will have a good size skimmer, live rock, refugium ,etc, etc, would there be enough benfit from a phosban reactor over the bags of media to take up the space ? I really don't want a hang on either

One other thing - does anyone have a phosban reactor ? What is really the difference in using this vs. bags of phosban or other media

I found a skimmer on Craigslist that they say has only been used for 2 months and he is having to break down his tank. It is a Coralife Super Skimmer Needle Wheel Protien Skimmer. He wants $75.00 or best offer. He would have to ship it - he lives about 3 hours down the road. Is this a good buy...

Do I turn off powerheads and overflow when I scrape it or let the flow just push it all over tank ?

I could try some Seachem buffer, but it seems my numbers run pretty good. I do add som PH buffer periodically in my top off but thats it. I cant really add any more rock it is packed now. My son's biocube has some nice coraline on the rocks but I can't really take them out to scrape off some...

I love the color in the last pic. Are you alking PH buffer or calcium buffer. My calcium stays 480-500. My PH is usually around 8-8.2
