let's see those top off's, ro/di's set ups

Interesting system, I see your running RO/DI system from airwaterice. Please do explain what is going on with those two buckets. IF I had to guess is one is for fresh top off water and one is for mixing saltwater.

    TDS test ?

Don't change out the sand!!! Otherwise you'll give yourself a lot of trouble putting in new sand. You'll see algae like you've never seen'em before....Personal experience.....Just start using RO/DI water from now on, if you need a good RO/DI filtration system, you can search for airwaterice...

    best sandshifting fish

IF you really want a fish, Diamond Goby would be the choice like it was mentioned above, but there are consequences you have to put up with like it was mentioned above. Sometimes they can starve to death and they can be detrimental to a DSB...It's your choice, your call..... Good Luck!

    Green Hair Algae Problem

When you test for phosphates, the reason it's coming up zero is because of the hair algae and other types of algae consuming it to the point you can't test for it. And your grocery RO water isn't as good as RO/DI water, which it was talked about above. The TDS level is part of what's fueling...

    live sand cc mix ok?

I would basically put dry aragonite on the bottom, then live sand over top of it. I did that when I did the move. All my fish did just fine, same with snails, hermits, etc. BUT you do need to do some good water changes on a weekly basis after that. Otherwise you'll see algae from...

New tank doing great from the start, should I be worried?

CC is actually fine if you siphon it good on a weekly basis when you do a water change. IMO, I would just have around 1-2" of CC as substrate, it would make your life a lot easier for upkeeps. I've kept both CC and sand, I just like the look of sand better then CC, plus I don't have to siphon...

    Fish DEAD...

You need to take those anemones back to your LFS!!!! They are NOT going to survive in your tank at this moment, they need a well established tank to survive. You also need to post your tank size, lighting, etc. like it was mentioned above....

when will the Diatom go away

You should have learned your patience by now since you've got a 150g. Let the tank do it's thing, if it's completely cycled, you should check your PH levels. I had some diatoms after the tank was completely cycled and I was told to check my PH, it sure was low, some buffer, poof, diatom was...

nitrate is perfect nitrite is dreadful help!

I feel this thread is getting ridiculous cause the guy isn't listening to anything at all. That bottle of live bacteria will help some, but it's not done cycling....Your pushing the envelop and it is going to explode right in your face. I feel bad for those creatures.........
