you have to have some , even a small amount, of coraline already onyour rock or glass for Purpe up to work also. just an fyi. todd

i use 2 10k ho white actinics, and 2 blue actinics, just basically the same as 50/50 ho actinics. todd

I personally love the look of actinics! I would go with 50/50 actinics!! That will be enough light for your tank. todd
