Saw a Copperband butterfly at the LFS yesterday. I had never seen one up close before and immediately wanted one. I have a 150G with a foxface, blue tang, fuzzy dwarf lion, and soon to be flame angel(currently in QT). Would a copperband be compatible with these fish? I read somewhere that...

I had a flame angel do the exact same thing when I got it. It even jumped out of the bowl I was using to acclimate and landed on the floor. I put a lid over the bowl after that. The bowl was in my storage as a fish only bowl. Good luck!!

I dont have any coral just live rock. I might go get it this weekend. How long should it stay in Qt? I read somewhere that you can put them into the main tank after acclimation without going into Qt. Is this true?

How would you get the seaweed to them?

My wife and I saw a pencil urchin at the LFS the other day. I'd never seen one before and was curious about it. I know it should be OK in my tank as I have no coral and the fish are not ones that would nip at it. My questions are what and how to feed it and also how to tell a healthy specimen...

My fuzzy dwarf tends to perch in the rocks most of the day except when someone comes into the room then it is all up front and on display, begging for food. No matter if he has just eaten or not. I have him with a foxface, blue tang, and soon to be flame angel. Good luck!

My wife named my blue tang Sushi. She said been thinking about a sushi bar her friends took her to and when she saw my fish for some reason she thought of eating sushi at the sushi bar and thus the fish was named. Hmmmmm.... should I be worried???

How do you feed, the urchin and also besides algae what do you feed them?

Thanks for the advice and the help. I bought a flame a couple of days ago from the LFS. It's about 1.5 inches and in my QT tank for now. He ate just fine this morning. My daughters just love the colors.

It would depend on the size of the tank as far as tankmates. I have mine in a 150G with a foxface, blue tang, and soon to be flame angel. No problems so far. Most places recommend at least 29G which would limit what could go with it as the lion might like the smaller fish for a snack. Good luck!!

I'm not planning on having corals in this tank, that is set for another tank at a future date(hopefully near future, depending on the mood of the wife). I'm having a hard time finding out online how to tell a healthy specimen from a weak one and also what to feed them besides algae and how to do it.
