I have this white foam under some of my L/R. and when you touch it the texture is spongy. Is it safe? Should I try to remove it? What is it? Thanks

Upgrading my skimmer. I have a 300 gal reef a 50 gallon sump and a 100 refugium. The 300gal had allot of fish in it and have a large bio load. I want to upgrade my skimmer and I don't know what one to buy. To I decided to ask the experts. So what does everyone say?

1.5 to 2.0 lbs per gallon. That is what I would do for a reef

Looks great. I bought mine when it was the size of a fifty cent piece. Now it is 13' long. so watch out it id don't die it will grow big. :D
