Are Coral Banded Shrimp reef safe?

I put a small bucket in my sump and the water drains into. Then I stack L/R on the other side of the sump. So the bubbles hit and pop on the L/R instead of getting into the tank. I will post a picture later. :yes:

I heard that if you don't keep a refugium light on 24/7 then it will start to pull nutrients out of the tank. Is this true or just a opinion?

I have a coral beauty. And he started to nip at corals so I put some sea weed in form ocean nutrition every other day. And he does not nip any more. I did take him a month though to start eating it. But he is a great looking fish though :D

The best bet is to wait. Its really hard on the fish when you move them.

Do SPS coral eat the stuff too?
