    Favorite Ti heaters? suggestions?

    i think my old glass / plastic junky heater is starting to give off stray voltage, and may be leading to a potential meltdown. time to upgrade to Ti. what are some brands you guys like? decent prices? also looking for a Ti grounding probe. any info will help.

    btw, you dont battle a diatom outbreak. it happens after a new tank first cycles. they dissappear on their own. in this hobby, the answer is not to just throw money at every little problem. the correct way is to read , learn and research the problem, and understand the underlying cause of it...

    yes you are going to have that problem when you buy 10 massive snails for something they wont eat (guessing here), and in a new tank with very little algae. they will starve to death. what size is your tank? i have 3 mexicans in a 150.

    i believe that legislation also includes boxers and a few other breeds. i dont get boxers, they are so goofy and playful and not aggressive.

    the best all around snail..

    my only qualm with ceriths is they have a tendancy to crawl on monti caps and die on them. but overall, still my favorite snail. however, atlantic turbos are better algae-vors IMO. they eat more types of random macro algaes that can start to grow in the tank over time.
