Any ideas on what livestock to add to my new 30 gal tank?

Lost my Emperor and Queen Angel due to a power outage for 2 hours :(

Very possibly something dead in your tank. Even a massive bacteria die-off can be a problem. I'd do a good ammonia test ASAP, use something like AmmoLock to neutralize it, and do massive water changes. A generator, like RCreations suggested is great, I wouldn't be without one. Just remember to...

    Stocklist Issues

Usually, you just have to decide if it is true 'aggression" or just normal pecking order stuff. However, you have (IMO) 2 semi-aggressive fish in a small tank and I doubt they will share their territory and play nice. I would be tempted (maybe foolishly) to try a big female clown; like a maroon...

question about a new 60g fowlr setup.

Assuming you stock & feed normally; I don't think you have enough surface area (from the LR) to culture enough aerobic bacteria and an ammonia problem is very possible.

question about a new 60g fowlr setup.

IMO, that isn't enough LR to culture enough bacteria for a good bio-filter. If you stock & feed normally, you would probably have an on-going ammonia problem.

    powder blue problem

Yes, you should worry. I'd re-post this in the disease section of the forum and read the thread on fish diseases, etc. These fish are very suseptible to ich. "Little bumps" could be lots of things, does it look like a sprinkle, or grains of salt? Was the fish Qt'd?

    Flame Angel Question.

I don't think a week is enough time for the diet to cause his death. It's common for many fish to go a week without eating anything. There have a lot of Flames having problems during the last several years. Cyanide collection is a possibility; your dealer must really know where his fish are...

    clownfish:(

They should become a bonded pair. The female will constantly let the male know who's boss and he will learn his place; but they usually become inseparable. She will still be very territorial, will not tolerate any other clown (except her mate), harass fish twice her size, etc. Depending on tank...

Need help with what fish to add!

I assume the maroon is a juvi and will almost certainly turn into a female. An adult, female, maroon is an incredibly territorial fish and will claim your whole tank as her territory. Don't get any wussy fish. The Hawkfish, suggested by Noah's Nemo are a good idea. Some of the small puffers...

    Water Changes and Food

There are as many opinions on water changes as there are hobbyists. Much depends on filtration, feeding, bio-load, etc. A lot of literature suggests about 20% a month and you're doing that. Should be fine. Search this forum for several good food home-brews.

    filtration system for several tanks

Wouldn't you be better off talking to a wholesaler or looking in a trade publication? I have a central system; but it was built a little at a time and for my specific needs. Central systems are very common in pet stores; but I doubt that they are built by amateurs. I'm sure any wholesaler can at...

    clownfish:(

This all depends on species and size...can you give us this info? Example: a big female maroon will seldom tolerate any other clown. A juvi percula will.
