Usually, you just have to decide if it is true 'aggression" or just normal pecking order stuff. However, you have (IMO) 2 semi-aggressive fish in a small tank and I doubt they will share their territory and play nice. I would be tempted (maybe foolishly) to try a big female clown; like a maroon...

Assuming you stock & feed normally; I don't think you have enough surface area (from the LR) to culture enough aerobic bacteria and an ammonia problem is very possible.

IMO, that isn't enough LR to culture enough bacteria for a good bio-filter. If you stock & feed normally, you would probably have an on-going ammonia problem.

I assume the maroon is a juvi and will almost certainly turn into a female. An adult, female, maroon is an incredibly territorial fish and will claim your whole tank as her territory. Don't get any wussy fish. The Hawkfish, suggested by Noah's Nemo are a good idea. Some of the small puffers...

There are as many opinions on water changes as there are hobbyists. Much depends on filtration, feeding, bio-load, etc. A lot of literature suggests about 20% a month and you're doing that. Should be fine. Search this forum for several good food home-brews.
