those that have RO/ DI's running in there house.... which one do you have? how many stages? like it? reccommend it? price you paid? hooked up to what? the house for drinking water? auto top off unit? large water container?

wow that sucks texas. i am letting the original owners stay there until wednesday. they already paid me "rent". in the mean time i am working on getting the electric beefed up for the fishtank!

pummice can very well be bad for a tank, lava rock is rich in nutrients , minerals and metallic ores. leaching can cause coral death/ poisoning and crazy algae blumes. i have read a few horror stories, while others seemed to be ok. i would just not use it personally, not worth it.

never heard of it, where does it come from? man made? sounds like it could be lava rock / pummice which could be very bad for a tank

thanks guys! its part of the reason i havent been on here so much in the last few months. knowing i had to move, so just maintaining my tank, no new fish, etc. let alone, all the house hunting etc etc have to beef up the electric before i move in (for the tank) first things i get are : 1)...

no, this is not about that bar song...so sorry for the misleading title i am closing on my first house tomorrow afternoon, it's been a long battle with very stressful days , but this time it seems to be happening!
