are you sure those are cloves? i have some non - blue cloves and they dont grow like that really. from the structure of the polyps, it looks more like a daisy pot. they are like the larger flower pots (gonioporas), but dont have as elongated polyp shafts, usually much brighter in coloration...

150 is a good amount for a 55g tank. IME, leathers are the first corals that will succumb to PO4 poisoning, so keep an eye on them. is the algae like diatoms? feathery? you top off and water change with RO ? lets get some param readings.
