I would love to but I only have one frag right now SPS about 1 inch. I should probably wait for the next one, huh. Great idea though! Great way to spread corals, get new pieces cheap and help from depleting the ocean. Not to mention networking and making new friends. Once again great idea.

Now that I look I guess SWF.com doesn't sell anything but live sand. Sorry for that misinformation. Go to your LFS and look for Carib-Sea Aragonite sand.

You can get it at any LFS, this site, and many other sites. The chain stores carry it as well. Although I will NEVER spend a penny at a *****!

Good question. The LR is Marshall Islands and Tonga branch, been in the LFS for about 2-3 weeks and did not stink.

NO crushed coral, made that mistake the first time I tried saltwater. Use sand like JacknJill said, get aragonite reef sand and LR and your sand will become "live sand". I agree with JacknJill live sand is a waste of money, with the LR or with a scoop of sand from an established tank the sand...

My wife is starting a 20g for zoo's, softies, and some LPS. Question is: do we need to put a raw srimp in to spike the tank? There is 25# aragonite sand, 28# LR, all the water came out of my 120g. The bio wheel sat in my sump for 3 weeks. What do you think, let it go or add the shrimp...

Speg excellent review of the mandarins. I am waiting a bit longer to put one in my 120g. My tank is 120g with 35g fuge/sump. I have lots of pods and huge amphipods. This will be my last fish and I want him to thrive. Thanks for taking the time to write it up.

Blemmy, looks just like the polyp eating nudi's that I had to battle for weeks. Check your zoo's and pull them out with tweezers. If you see them on your zoo's dip them in RO water with iodine for 7 minutes. I did that 3 days in a row and then pulled the stragglers out with tweezers, with no...

I like the Current products. I have the 4x65w PC retros in my canopy with my MH's. I use them for dusk to dawn effect, looks great and adds blue to my 10k MH's. I say get em.
