    GreenReefer's 24 gallon Aquapod

Sweet action, didn't realize you've tested it already. When I did mine I didn't have a lot of rock available so I just wedged it under the rim of the tank. This thing should look awesome, I'm excited.

    Aggressive nano....

So how big do the smallest anglers get? And what are they called? Sorry to hijack this thread but I've always wanted an angler just never did the research yet.

Snap32's New 20g Long Tank Diary

Umm, good looking tank first off. But don't be surprised if the nem doesn't last long, they like established tanks. Also the maroons will get nasty when they get bigger. But you can't beat free.

Updated pics of tank & new frags

Great looking tank! I have that 29 also, I love the dimensions of it. Could I get a pic of your sump? Also did you drill or is that a u-tube?

The back piece looks like a heart now lol. Can't wait to see water in it. I really hope it works out for you, that foam is super buoyant.

That would be fine, it shouldn't be your main filtration but it would be a good place for pods to grow and feed the corals. Since it is 3 gallons weekly water changes of 1 gallon should be great to keep the water clean.

Right Cranberry, I wouldn't do that. Which species of angler stays small?

Pico as in how big? 3? 5? I guess it would work. Make like two or three tiers so you can have some higher light corals towards the top. And with a frag tank you'll want lights that can grow the corals. I'm thinking the 2x18w would be nice, then you could play around with the bulbs. 'Cause...

Tailspot blenny, it is pretty cool and only needs 10 gallons or so. So far he is my favorite fish.

    DeMartini's ADA Reef

What happened to your swissguard? And what is your fish and invert list? P.S. I got a tailspot the other day and he is now my favorite fish of all time.

That's the beauty of a 40br! It is big enough to house a lot of corals and some cool fish, but it isn't a pain to move when you're ready. Either way gutting out the Biocube just doesn't make sense to me. You get a Biocube because it is AIO, not to make it into a normal tank.

That is freakin sweet man. I really wanna do an aggressive nano too. Except I want an angler with a dwarf lion.

I could probably find something on another site that I can't mention but they sound easy to build if you have the right equipment. Silicone (I'd do black) Glass (this would be tricky cause you want quality stuff) Angle braces (get nice 90 degree corners) Clamps Then silicone the places that need...

So the guy made a Biocube into a regular glass tank? Sounds like a waste of time and money to me. Just curious, why would you want to see the thread? It sounds like you have a good idea of what the guy did.

My brother-in-law picked up his corals that I was babysitting. I'm missing how full the tank looked, but that just means I have more room now! Oh and I picked up some Kent pH buffer. My pH is consistently at 7.8 So I'll be testing and adding the buffer as necessary, I'll be posting results.
